Super 8 filmmaking, much like film in general, is enjoying something of a renaissance these days.

As Kodak’s President of Motion Picture Film Steve Bellamy told us for our June piece on the fate of film, “Film is the artful medium… basically infinite in color and image characteristics.”

If you’re new to the medium or just intrigued, this recently posted video from Joey Shanks does an excellent job walking you through both the basics and more advanced tips to get you started in Super 8mm filmmaking.
